Response
So many things will determine the no of plants you have on an hectare..
*The type of heaps or ridges for the tomatoes.

For heaps of separate one one

4,000 heaps makes an acre and 10,000 heaps make an hectare.
* Using a long bed ridges.

A 30 cm drip spacing will have 12,000 plants per acre and 30,000 plants per hectare.
A 40cm spaced drip will have 10,000 plants per acre and 25,000 plants per hectare

However the no of tomato plants on an hectare starts from 10, 000 plants and could take as much as 50,000 plants based on the spacing
