In tropical areas like ours where the intensity of the sun is intensively high during the day.
We have adopt the system of transplanting at night.
So we turn night workers to save the plants
Transplanting is the moving of the seedlings from the nursery beds to the main field where it will grow to fruiting and harvest.
Seedlings do experience what we call transplanting shocked which might eventually lead to death
To avoid losing the seedlings is what turned us to Night workers.
The sun is set at night so the transplanting shock is minimised.
And the seedlings can have high survival rates which equals more yield to the farmer
